No-Sew Blanket

I decided to make my nephew and NY Yankee blanket for his birthday since he is such a big fan. I wanted to make him something that he would keep and could hand down to his kids one day, he is only 10! Here is what you need:

4 yards of your favorite fleece material
rotary cutter and mat
or scissors
pins

Lay material back to back on a flat surface. Place a set of pins along all sides of blanket. Trim 1/2 in off each side.
Next, cut a 4x4 section from each corner. This will allow you to tie the blankets together and not have a kink in the fabric.
Then, along each edge, cut 4 in up and 2 in apart. Once you have one side done, go back and tie strips together into knots. Do not tie too tight or your fabric will look kinked, but tie tight enough it wont come undone.

This is a very easy blanket to make and I hope to make more for Christmas presents this year!
